Salvage Sale hosted by Methow Recycles and WasteWise! 

When Peter Goldman and Martha Kongsgaard were ready to demo the building at 315 Riverside, they approached us to see if we were interested in going in before the demo to salvage any materials for resale. The building was an iconic part of downtown Winthrop and had plenty of still usable materials. We of course jumped on the opportunity and launched what we hope is the first of many salvage events under a new program, ReSource. Methow Recycles volunteers went in before the building was demolished and salvaged all usable materials. WasteWise helped to coordinate the project as well as provided roll-off bins to store the materials ahead of the sale.
