When: Saturday, September 21st, from 1-3pm
Where: 523B Eastside Chewuch Road, Winthrop (GET DIRECTIONS). Please carpool if possible.
The community is invited to join the mətx̌ʷu Descendants at x̌ʷnámx̌ʷnam to learn more about their traditional activities on their homeland. This event is free and open to all who wish to learn more about the mətx̌ʷu People, who have lived in the Methow Valley since Time Immemorial.
Owned by the Confederated Tribes of the Colville Reservation on behalf of the mətx̌ʷu People, x̌ʷnámx̌ʷnam offers an important place for the mətx̌ʷu Descendants to practice and sustain their traditional knowledge.
