This is a great opportunity to connect with other fatbike enthusiasts from across the Northwest and enjoy some of the best fatbike trails anywhere. A Sno-Park permit is required to park at any of the three trailheads located within Pearrygin Lake State Park and a Discover Pass is required to park at the Lloyd Ranch Trailhead.
Friday January 12th:Â
** 5:00pm - 7:00pm Night ride from Winthrop Town Trailhead (Methow Trails fatbike trail or ski pass required)
Meet at the Town Trailhead in Winthrop starting at 4:45pm to be ready to ride at 5pm with your bike, good lights, and dressed warm. Ride as long as you'd like and warm yourself and swap stories around the fire afterwards.
Saturday January 13th:
** 10am Morning raffle ride on the Pearrygin Lake Sno-Park trail system
We'll gather at the lower trailhead at Pearrygin Lake State Park for the first group ride opportunity of the weekend. We'll start with a short ride over to the swim area in the East Campground to get the traditional weekend group photo. After the photo, riders can then continue to explore the Pearrygin Lake area and Lloyd Ranch trails visiting several locations to collect raffle tickets for chances to win prizes at Saturday evening's Fat and Happy Hour. A warming fire will be located at the trailhead.
** 4pm - 7pm Fat and Happy Hour at Methow Cycle & Sport and fatbike Lit Crit
Gather back at Methow Cycle & Sport in Winthrop starting at 4pm for beverages, snacks, and more fat fun. Take part in the spectacle that is the Lit Crit or cheer on the participants. The evening will be full of refreshments, socializing, and making connections with others for more fatbiking on Sunday.
Sunday January 15th:
No formal gatherings or rides are planned but Sunday will be a great opportunity to wrap up your weekend checking out other fatbiking areas in the valley like Big Valley,Gunn Ranch, other routes in the valley, or even just head back up to the Pearrygin Lake area for another helping of some sweet riding!
