For over 30 years, devoted fans gather during President’s Day Weekend for a community co-ed snowshoe softball tournament. The weekend is full of good sport, great fun and an out-of-the-ordinary event – enjoyed by both participants and spectators alike.

As the name implies, snowshoe softball is an actual softball tournament played in the snow. The participants are strapped into snowshoes. The teams must be comprised of equal numbers of men and women. To enable the participants and the spectators to keep track of the action, all of the balls are florescent yellow.
