Dark Skies: define the valley we call home. In this exhibit, 28 Artists reflect the

inspiration the night sky holds for them in paintings, photography, textiles and sculpture.

We invite you to enjoy their gaze and learn why the dark skies are a gift to so many and

how to preserve them. Thank you to the Methow Dark Sky Coalition for their educational

partnership for this exhibition.

Bright Skies, Mary Powell: MoMA recently featured an AI display of stunning colors and shapes flowing

on an immense wall. Everyone was transfixed by this grand magnificence.

But all we have to do is look up and it’s free. Our skies outdo AI on a cosmic

scale. Vast, ever changing and continually stunning. I hope my paintings

reflect some of their drama.
