We need help to combat Russian Thistle on the Lloyd Ranch, adjacent to Pearrygin Lake State Park. This weed is a type of tumbleweed taking over the west! We need volunteers to help support the Fish and Wildlife staff remove the weeds. Meet at the Lloyd Ranch parking lot.

About the event
We need help to combat Russian Thistle on the Lloyd Ranch, adjacent to Pearrygin Lake State Park. This weed is a type of tumbleweed taking over the west! We need volunteers to help support the Fish and Wildlife staff remove the weeds. Meet at the Lloyd Ranch parking lot and walk up the hill to the worksite. Enjoy fabulous views of the lake while you work! Please wear long sleeved tops and full length pants. Bring your own gloves and water. Please bring a garden hoe, pitch fork and small tarp if you are able. Afterwards everyone is invited to meet up in town for a no-host lunch at Old School House Brewery in Winthrop. Or bring your own lunch to enjoy it at the Lloyd Ranch if you prefer!
